The development of the A303 Stonehenge scheme has been guided by expert, independent heritage focused advice.

Our Scientific Committee is chaired by Professor Sir Barry Cunliffe CBE and was formed in 2017 following a recommendation from UNESCO.
It includes independent archaeologists with a broad range of expertise and views about the proposed scheme along with experts from Historic England, Wiltshire Council Archaeological Service, English Heritage and the National Trust.
