New contractors on board

Costain and Mott MacDonald have been awarded the £60 million contract to become the A303 Stonehenge project’s Delivery Assurance Partner to help us co-ordinate and oversee the construction of the scheme.

We’ve also now signed contracts with our previously announced preferred bidder for main works construction - the MORE joint venture - made up of FCC Construcción, WeBuild and BeMo Tunnelling. This contract becomes live once the Secretary of State has concluded the current planning process.

Costain and Mott Macdonald take over from our existing partner Aecom, Mace and WSP, who have supported the project for the past five years. We’d like to thank them for their role in developing the scheme to reach the point we are at today.
